I don't think most people would be driving and pull off on the side of a high speed highway to take a picture of a field. But yes, I am that person.
I just don't think normal people crouch down in itchy grain to capture just the right image of fields of wheat being harvested... that was me.
I doubt that the typical person would pace back and forth on the road waiting for the sun to set just at the right spot to take a picture to post on a social media site... but yep, that is me.
I bet the farmers driving these tractors and trucks thought the lady on the road positioning her phone in their direction for an extended period of time was probably a tad bit psycho...
And I am.
Perhaps its a little crazy to stare at a 6 inch-square section of grain and be fascinated by its colors and illuminating qualities... but I did.
Or maybe passer-bys watching a woman wander around an old barn on an abandoned piece of property assumed she was up to no good.
But hey.. its for my love of beautiful things. The history and mystery found every day in my rural world.
And you might just find me in a few more random places, waiting for crazy amounts of time, and pushing my body into weird positions... to get just the right shot of every day things to share with very few people...
Its what I love.
